COMPANY
We've built the platform that we wish we had.
Built by Clinicians, for Clinicians
Founded by seasoned physicians, we’ve experienced the disconnects and inefficiencies in ongoing credentialing. With our expertise and vast network of clinicians, we set out to build a product that empowers clinicians and healthcare organizations to simplify continuing education and take control of ongoing medical credentialing.
Our Journey
2015
A Shared Struggle Sparks an Idea
While attending Yale School of Management, Dr. Ian Madom and Dr. George Fernaine found themselves facing the same frustrations as countless other healthcare professionals—navigating the complex and time-consuming world of continuing medical education (CME).
Driven by their shared passion for medicine and education, they envisioned a better way. They dreamed of a simple, efficient solution to manage CME so that clinicians could dedicate their time to learning new skills, saving lives, and spending time with family.
2017
A Dream Takes Root
Mocingbird was officially incorporated, planting the seed for a future where clinicians could focus on what truly matters—caring for patients.
2019
The Team is Formed
With their vision clear, Dr. Madom and Dr. Fernaine began assembling a team of dedicated individuals who shared their mission. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become a transformative solution for healthcare professionals.
2021-Present
The Vision Into Reality
Mocingbird is implemented at various organizations, bringing to life a platform that empowers clinicians and organizations to seamlessly manage licensing, compliance, and CME.
With every milestone achieved, the focus remained steadfast: helping healthcare professionals navigate the complexities of their profession with confidence and peace of mind.
Our commitment.
“My vision for Mocingbird is to become the primary tool for how clinicians learn and track their learning. Right now, we are aiming at compliance because the need is most acute. However, we are working toward a platform that enables clinicians to learn in real-time as they work. This approach will create a more efficient healthcare ecosystem, lead to better patient outcomes, and help professionals stay at the top of their game without taking extra time to do so.”
